Recruitment/Allocation

Recruitment is a nationally coordinated process organised by the West Midlands LETB with interviews usually being held in different sites across England. HEE provide generic information about the recruitment process HERE. Trainees will have a choice of where to book their interview if they are successful in shortlisting. There are usually 2 recruitment cycles per year and details including timescales, vacancies and person specifications can be found on the National websites detailed in the links.

Allocation to hospitals within a programme is done by the Training Programme Directors for Core rotations and is done so according to training needs. The Specialist rotations are advertised with the locations of the first four years of the programme already specified. Therefore, trainees rank their choices of rotation during the application process. See the FAQ section below.
