Important Information for FP 2018 Eligibility Applicants

For the Foundation Programme commencing in August 2018  (UKFP 2018), we expect there will be more fully eligible applicants than there are vacancies based on trends over the last few years. The final number of applications will not be known until the close of the application period on 13 October 2017. If, at that time, there are more fully eligible applicants than vacancies, we will not consider applications from graduates who are not able to provide proof of their right to work and remain in the UK by the 11 January 2018. Individuals in this category will be withdrawn from the national application process and their application will not proceed.

If you are a graduate from a medical school outside the UK and you will not be able to provide evidence of your right to work and remain in the UK by 11 January 2018, you may still submit your eligibility documentation for consideration. If you are deemed eligible, you may go on to submit an application form on the Oriel recruitment portal when it opens on 2 October 2017 should you wish to do so. However, you should bear in mind that it is very likely your application will not be considered.
