There are two types of accommodation for single people at Airedale General Hospital, subject to availability.  The accommodation is provided by Your Housing Group.

1. Short Stay Rooms

These are rooms where a hotel type service is provided Monday – Friday and includes toilet rolls, bed linen which is changed once a week, towels that are changed every other day, with spare ones being left in the room throughout a tenant’s stay.  The en-suite bathrooms, bedrooms and windows are deep cleaned weekly.  All common areas (entrance hall, kitchen/dining area/lounge) within each flat are cleaned on a daily basis Monday – Friday.   Tenants provide their own washing up liquid, washing powder and dishwasher powder.

The cost for one of these rooms is £22 per night

2. Single Accommodation

These are rooms where the tenant provides their own cleaning materials, toilet rolls, sheets, pillowcases and double duvet covers, towels, washing up liquid, washing powder and dishwasher powder.  They clean their own bedroom, bathroom and windows.  All common areas (entrance hall, kitchen/dining area/lounge) within each flat are cleaned by Domestic Services.  At the end of each tenant’s stay they must ensure they clean the room up to the standard set by Domestic Services

The cost for one of these rooms is £416.50 per calendar month.

All students requiring accommodation must provide a 'bond' cheque for £420.00 which is to be handed in to the accommodation office when you register with them.  This will be returned to you, if no damage is done to your flat.  If any repairs need to be carried out, the cost will be taken from the bond.  The most popular deposit deduction is lost keys which are £20 each
