Anaesthetics ST3 Recruitment in Yorkshire and the Humber

Welcome to the Health Education England Yorkshire & the Humber Anaesthetics Recruitment page. There are 3 regional training programmes within the School based around the teaching hospitals in each region namely the East (Hull), West (Leeds) and South (Sheffield). Each programme provides training in all areas of the curriculum, has well organised teaching and enviable exam pass rates. We encourage you to visit the Anaesthesia School section for more detailed information about the training scheme.

The anticipated duration of the training programme is 5 years subject to satisfactory progression. The actual duration may depend on the circumstances of individual trainees.

Successful applicants for ST training enter a 5 year programme that could rotate to any of the hospitals in the region. Typically a larger proportion of time is spent in the teaching hospitals for speciality training.
