An outstanding individual is sought to fulfil the role of Deputy Training Programme Director – Intensive Care Medicine (pan-Deanery).  Accountable to the Deputy Dean via the Head of School, Deputy Head of School of Anaesthesia/Lead for ICM and the ICM Training Programme Director, they will play an important part in the direction of training programmes in the Locality.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced NHS Consultant and will have previously held or currently hold a College Tutor post.  Applicants must have a thorough understanding of Intensive Care Medicine training in the region.  They will also have strong leadership and communication skills and be able to work effectively as a member of a multi-professional team. 

This 1-year fixed term post will be available on the basis of a secondment arrangement to Health Education England working across Yorkshire and the Humber and will be remunerated on the NHS Consultant Pay Scale – at 1 PA per week.  All work undertaken is to be incorporated into the Consultant Job Plan.
