Paediatric Urology Sub-Specialty Fellowship in Health Education England working across Yorkshire and the Humber
These posts are part of the Royal College of Surgeons Sub-Specialty Fellowship Programme in Paediatric Urology which aims to provide a comprehensive and enjoyable training in all aspects of Paediatric Urology including bladder exstrophy. The programme covers the required two years of Sub-specialist Paediatric Urology Training within each centre.
The posts are based in Leeds and Manchester and would be given for one year in each of the centres. The selection of the centre would depend on the ranking at the interview and according to personal preference. Following satisfactory completion of the first year, the Manchester fellow would have the second year of training in Leeds and the Leeds fellow in Manchester.
Trainees are required to keep a complete portfolio for the period of training within the training programme to be ready to submit for review at any time. The trainees will undergo Annual Record of Competency Progression and successful completion of first year is required before progression to second year of training. The trainees will be entitled to annual and study leave in keeping with the Terms & Conditions of Service for Specialty Trainees.
Trainees register with the Royal Colleges of Surgeons at the time of appointment and are responsible for completing documentation including requests for approval of Flexible Training.
Opportunities for research and overseas experience will be accommodated wherever possible.

The expected duration of this training programme is 2 years subject to satisfactory progression. The actual duration may depend on the circumstances of individual trainees.
