List of FY2 GP Practices

The Yorkshire and Humber Foundation School offers GP placements in the F2 year of Foundation training.

We will try to allocate you to a specific GP practice as early as possible in your F1 year, but you may not be allocated to a practice until the January/February before you start your F2 year.

This is due to some practices being in more remote parts of the region, which not every trainee can get to, especially if relying on public transport. Also, some practices don’t take a trainee every year, so we have to rotate trainees around the area. We do aim to place you as near your base hospital as possible and take into account any issues around accessibility.
