I am an Associate Specialist in General Adult Psychiatry at the Priestley Unit, Dewsbury District Hospital. My special interests are psychodynamic psychotherapy, personality disorders, spirituality and health care, mindfulness and reflective practice. I have developed and taught a 10 half-day programme of teaching on psychotherapy and a shorter course on psychological awareness for multidisciplinary staff. I have developed and taught appraisers on reflective practice. I facilitate spiritual retreats for staff for health and wellbeing. I also facilitate mindfulness retreats for doctors.
