I am a Specialty Doctor in Palliative Medicine at Rotherham Palliative Care Services at Rotherham Hospice. My special interests are communication skills, DNACPR, medical ethics and symptom control in palliative care. I am a nationally-accredited communication skills trainer with 10 years' experience of running courses for senior healthcare professionals. I also facilitate medical education around symptom control and ethics for GPs and GP trainees. I am Clinical Supervisor for GP trainees at the Hospice, and have been part of a Strategic Health Authority-wide strategic DNACPR group for the past 7 years.
