Workforce, training and education
Yorkshire and Humber

Please see the below invitation for the 2021 Health Education England Yorkshire & the Humber Psychiatry School Conference, which will this year be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on Friday 26th November 2021. The event will be accessed via a virtual portal created by Medics Academy.

This portal will host all the relevant and required links to the virtual meetings and Live events happening throughout the day. It will also display the Events' agenda and other useful information.

In the wake of the Glasgow COP26 summit we will turn to the questions of reducing carbon emissions and sustainability within mental health services and the wider NHS.  We will also be hearing about the longer term societal and health service impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, and we will be hearing about the new psychiatry curricula, perhaps the biggest change in psychiatric training for over ten years.

You may register at the portal by following through the below process,

1. Click on this link ( https://www.medics.academy/courses/yorkshire-and-humber-school-of-psychiatry-annual-conference-2021)

2. Select 'Learn More'

3. Complete the signup process

and you will be immediately guided onto the event portal.

Please note the portal you will see is not the finished product and the links to the event and workshop sessions will be made available a few days prior to the event date.

We will also be adding our poster presentations prior to the event day for you to review. Please note we are still accepting poster applications until Friday 19th November.

This year we are asking delegates to join us in some fun/creative activities which we will send details on in the coming weeks.
