Trainees in Yorkshire and the Humber spend the entire 5 year (ST4-8) training period at the Leeds General Infirmary (which provides all Fetal, Paediatric and Adult Congenital cardiac services for the region).

Sub-specialty training is offered at ST7-8 in Interventional cardiac catheterisation, Electrophysiology, Fetal cardiology, Advanced Echo, Advanced imaging (CT/MRI) and Adult congenital heart disease

Trainees wishing to train in Transplantation cardiology or Pulmonary Hypertension will be supported in obtaining OOP training to obtain this in another UK or international centre.
