The Yorkshire and Humber Improvement Academy isoffering unique fellowships in clinical leadership with astrong emphasis on patient safety and qualityimprovement. We are seeking exceptional fellows fromdifferent professional backgrounds to undertake thisyearlong attachment and to develop the skills andknowledge that will help them become the clinical leadersof the future.The Leadership Fellow (Learning from Mortality) will leadand support the regional mortality leads group in a newphase of learning from mortality in covid-endemic times.The Fellow will develop virtual training and other resourcesto respond to local and national need. The Improvement Academy, based at Bradford TeachingHospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is a leading national centrein patient safety and quality improvement. The fellow willwork across a range of health and social care settings andin collaboration with a range of organisations. They will joina well-established team of improvement / patient safetyspecialists from a variety of clinical, managerial andacademic backgrounds to help support them in their role.Through our academic and improvement links, our fellowsare supported to develop expertise in Quality Improvement,Behavioural Change, Human Factors, Data Analytics andChange Management.
