Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust -Innovation Lead (Band AfC8a) As part of the Health Education England Yorkshire andHumber (HEE YH) Future Leaders Programme, STHFT isseeking applications from candidates who wish to join theProgramme and work for the Trust on secondment for1year, commencing August 2022.The Programme offers opportunities for medical, dentaltrainees, public health registrars, healthcare professions(qualified nurses, midwifery, allied health professionals,healthcare scientists, pharmacy and others) to do a one-year Leadership Fellowship to develop their personalleadership skills to:•Enhance skills and competencies that are essential forfuture healthcare leaders.•Undertake a one-year postgraduate qualification e.g. inleadership or medical education.•Gain practical and academic experience in leadershipfrom local and national experts in the field and build anetwork of expert contacts with NHS management andclinical leaders.As the Trust’s Innovation Lead, the new Fellow will focus ona single project; the successful implementation anddelivery of the Trust’s Innovation objectives. Key areasinclude;• Developing partnerships with Industry and Universities.• Facilitating technology adoption.• Increasing Trust staff awareness and engagement in ourinnovation activities.• Ensuring the exploitation of innovation opportunities.• Development and effective monitoring of relevant KeyPerformance Indicators.
