The Leadership Fellow will also have opportunities to: Develop a comprehensive understanding of how qualityimprovement data and tools, such as PDSA cycles,statistical process and run charts, lead to successful andsustained change, alongside understanding value andwaste reduction Support, coach and empower frontline teams to leadimprovement, using small scale change methods via QIcoaching. Become competent in the application of LeedsImprovement Method, the Trust’s approach to QualityImprovement and service redesign. Ensure that patient safety and experience is central to allimprovement work, and can be demonstrated by the end ofany project. Develop and support the FMLM Leadership charter fortrainees, working with the Chief Medical Registrar Support and continue to develop the organisations Qinetwork. Contribute to current QI collaboratives across a variety ofareas within the Trust (including: improving patient flow,sepsis, reducing blood stream infection, reducing falls,reducing avoidable deterioration) and gain understanding ofhow improvement work is scaled up across a largeorganisation and how Quality partners are involved at allstages of the work. Provide regular updates on the progress of any projectsundertaken. Formally relate activity to the NHS Leadership Academy’sHealthcare Leadership Model, and the published standardsof the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management(FMLM).
