The overarching aim of this proposal is to improve the engagement with clinical teams predominantly but not limited to medical staff using the digitisation agenda as an enabler. The Trust is committed to extending the scope of SystmOne in secondary care to be a truly Integrated Health Record (IHR); this will require clinical involvement and leadership. The aim is to use the digitisation agenda to develop a model for clinical engagement that can be adopted for other projects.
There will also be opportunities to work with the Medical Director and Deputy Medical Directors, the Director of Medical Education, Organisational Development Team and the Acute Provider Collaborative on projects designed by the Leadership Fellow. Airedale NHS Trust is a leader in the field of Telemedicine. Opportunities exist to extend it’s scope within the organisation and in the wider health economy.
