This post will support the implementation of new models of development and assessment to ensure that all foundation pharmacists have access to the necessary education and support to ensure that they become safe and effective practitioners. The post will be based within the School of Medicines Optimisation within HEE and will have strong links to all employers of foundation pharmacists across the north of England. In addition, the post holder will develop close links to professional bodies and education providers across the UK. The post will enable the successful candidate to develop leadership skills and learn about modern and innovative education and assessment methods so that the system introduced is lean and robust. The fellow will do most of their work in a HEE office which is convenient to them but they must be willing to travel to employers across the north of England.
