As part of the Health Education England Yorkshire and Humber (HEE YH) Future Leaders Programme, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STH) is seeking applications from candidates who wish to join the Programme and work for STH on secondment for 1 year, commencing August 2023.The Programme offers opportunities for medical & dental trainees, public health registrars, and healthcare professions (nursing, midwifery, allied health professions, healthcare scientists, pharmacy and psychology) and others to do a one-year Leadership Fellowship to develop their personal leadership skills to:• Enhance skills and competencies that are essential for future healthcare leaders.• Undertake a 1-year postgraduate qualification e.g. in leadership or medical education.• Gain practical & academic experience in leadership from local & national experts in the field and build a network of expert contacts with NHS management & clinical leaders. In line with Trust priorities, NHS Long Term Plan and NHS People Plan, the Trust wishes to stimulate and grow innovation capability and capacity within the organisation to deliver real benefits to its patients. The Fellow will lead on the following objectives: • developing and implementing an effective industry interface for healthcare solutions for STH• implementing a range of SMART measures to assess performance in innovation, working with a range of local, regional and national partners to ensure their implementation and delivery
