This is a fantastic opportunity to influence and contribute tothe delivery of Internal Medicine training throughoutYorkshire and the Humber deanery. You will work regularlywith senior members of the School of Medicine and engagein a broad range of projects which can be tailored to youreducational interests. The successful candidate will beexpected to develop and deliver projects aimed atdelivering out-patient competences to reflect the newcurricula and remote working; and implementing amultiprofessional teaching programme for internalmedicine. They will work with each LEP to develop aprogramme of clinic opportunities and guidance for howthese will deliver curriculum competences, particularlyaround virtual consultation. The novel teaching programmereplaces the didactic lecture based GIM teachingprogramme and include simulation courses particularlyfocussing on human factors training; use of case basedlearning networks to support acquisition of broader clinicalskills, for example in palliative and critical care; web-basedresources to support learning in acute care; and learningthrough collaborative reflection. The fellows will beencouraged to take an active role in the Future LeadersProgramme and will be supported to complete a 1 yearqualification tailored to their needs.
