This is a one-year leadership post based in Health Education England working across the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health & Care Partnership (WYH HCP). You will either: be seconded as an OOPE (out of programme experience) from your speciality training programme for junior doctors or undertake a secondment or fixed term appointment if you are from another clinical background. The posts focus on the expansion and effective utilisation of clinical placements for undergraduate nursing, midwifery and AHP students in West Yorkshire. One post will be focussing specifically on the expansion of placements in primary and social care and the other will focus on the use of digitally enhanced learning to expand placement capacity. You will develop your leadership skills by networking across a complex ICS region, undertaking distinct, self-identified projects that are aligned to the learning environment and placement (LEAP) strategy and priorities. Furthermore, you will be engaging with key stakeholders within the ICS and promoting the WY LEAP programme of work. You will be supported by senior leaders at HEE YH and within the ICS to develop an understanding of HEE YH and ICS functions and responsibilities and how they interact by attending meetings, supporting working groups and through your own independent learning. As a successful applicant you will also have access to a variety of development opportunities (eg. Myers Briggs Type Indicator feedback, 360 appraisal, coaching, participation in an Action Learning Set) and will be supported to undertake 1 year of a postgraduate qualification.
