Post start date: August 2021

This post is a full time HEE leadership fellow post working on non-technical skills training across surgery, anaesthesia, and ED.  This post will build on the work of previous fellows designing non-technical skills training at ST3 and ST8.   

The main focus of this post will be the development of cross-specialty in situ simulation days with an emphasis on non-technical skills development, to help achieve excellence in this critical area.    The fellow will be expected to attend FLP educational days and be free to select from the wide variety of leadership development opportunities offered by the programme.   

Funding will also be available for a PGCert in Education or Leadership as discussion with the appointed candidate.   

The post is hosted by HEE and will be working across the region as needed.    There will be opportunity to develop networks in medical education regionally and nationally and it is anticipated the postholder will have opportunity to present and publish work from the post.
