He gave simple approach to establish care plan with the ceiling of care for patients with possible poor outcome including the unfortunate event of cardio-respiratory arrest and the consensus achieved after discussion with the patients and their relatives formulating a DNACPR decision. Emphasised on the necessity of a Best Interest Meeting and application of the Mental Capacity Act (2005) when the patient has no capacity to take part in the decision making.
