Emergency Medicine.

The School covers three regions based around the teaching hospitals in the East (Hull), West (Leeds) and South (Sheffield). We have an organised combined regional training programme for Core and HST trainees.

ACCS CT1 year covers a comprehensive combined training programme for ACCS AN, EM and AM trainees, mapped to the latest ACCS curriculum.

The programme includes anatomy, simulation, sedation, minor injuries, ultrasound, Paediatric emergency medicine and regional mock examinations.

We have thriving research training programmes, centres of training excellence and the chance to sub-specialise in all the recognised disciplines allied to EM. We offer the opportunity to reach your full potential here, as well as striking a work life balance that can allow you to really unwind and explore the interests you may not have prioritised in getting to where you are today. EM as a career is immensely rewarding, yet tough; you need to be resilient so there are benefits from training somewhere you can find the space to breathe.
