RCGP Membership

All GP trainees are required to join the RCGP as an Associate in Training (AiT) - information about the various membership packages is available at: http://www.rcgp.org.uk/about-us/membership

Once you have registered, your ePortfolio should be available for access within around 48 hours, at which point details of your training rotation will be added by the GPSTP office staff.

Certification

For information on the Certification process, please see the Certification Overview available in the Downloads section below.

There is also information available at: http://www.rcgp.org.uk/gp-training-and-exams/

All trainees who satisfactorily complete a GMC approved 2.5 or 3 year GP training programme are eligible to apply for a CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training).

If you complete a 3 year programme and pass either AKT or CSA after leaving the programme, eg after an extension to training, you may need to apply for a CEGPR - please refer to the CEGPR Scenarios document in the Downloads section below for full information.
