Thursday, May 10, 2018 9.30am onwards | Yorkshire Sculpture Park, nr Wakefield
The 2018 School of Radiology Conference will be held on Thursday 10th May, at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield.
Details of the event are being finalised at the moment and will follow the same pattern as in previous years, with presentations from trainees and external speakers. At the moment, we are planning for the event to open at 10am with morning registration between 9.30am and 10am, and ending around 4.30pm. But the timings may vary slightly.
You must book a place in advance and you will be able to book a place here once the registration is site is opened. (This is likely to be in late January or early February). If you are planning to attend please also ensure that you book study leave for the day. If you turn up on the day, without having registered, you run the risk of being turned away.
Details on how to find the venue and parking options will be available here in due course.
The programme will be emailed to registered attendees in late April and copies will be available for delegates as you register on arrival.
Queries regarding the event should be sent to the School email address.
Presentations and Posters
As in previous years, Radiology trainees are invited to highlight work they have undertaken and present their findings/research at the Conference. Trainees interested in giving a presentation or displaying a poster on aspects of their work, should send a short abstract (no more than a side of A4) to the head of School, Dr Jai Patel, by Friday 2nd March 2018.
Certificates of Attendance
Conference attendees will receive a certificate from this office confirming their attendance. However, this is dependent on delegates signing the registration forms on arrival. Due to other work commitments within the Programme Support team in May/June, certificates will be prepared and issued 4-6 weeks after the event takes place.
