A Workshop for Primary and Community Services


Sharing reflections and reviewing actions to manage flooding for the future
Wednesday 6th September 2017 Time: 10.00 – 13.00
Venue: 21 The High Street, Tadcaster LS24 9AP

The purpose of the workshop is to:


1. Build on the lessons already learned from the flooding experiences over the last 18 months
2. Learn from other GP practices, CCGs (particularly in Cumbria who have been flooded over the last
few years.
3. Explore what community resilience is and what can be done to support communities in the future
4. Use the workshop to develop a health flood action plan for Tadcaster that can be used by other GP
practices across the region and England in the future.
Outcome
The anticipated outcome for this workshop is:
The production of a plan for the Tadcaster community that can be replicated by GP practices from
across the North of England and the rest of the UK.
