The Future Leaders Programme has produced a video to explain what it is that we do, and why we are encouraging trainees to take a year out of their training to develop their leadership skills. The video is availabe on the Future Leaders Programme homepage.
Leadership in the NHS is all about improving patient care. The Future Leaders Programme aims to equip the consultants of the future with the right skills to be able to lead their teams in order to promote health and wellbeing, and improve outcomes for patients.
Please feel free to use this video to generate interest in your organisation and amongst your colleagues.
Trainees who are interested in becoming fellows might want to have a look at the frequently asked questions that we have received from trainees in the past. We would encourage you to discuss your interest with your TPD or Head of School prior to applying for any post.
Although the round one bids are now closed, orgainsations which are interested in hosting a fellow should have a look at their frequently asked questions too.
