Tuesday, December 16, 2014 18:30 | Queen Mother Conference Centre The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh 9 Queen Street Edinburgh EH2 1JQ
The Evening Medical Update on Tuesday 16 December 2014 will cover 'Acute back pain' (see Programme for further details) and will run from 6.30 pm to approximately 8.15 pm.
The Evening Medical Updates (EMU) programme covers the ‘Top Medical Presentations’ and ‘Emergency Presentations’ as defined in the GIM training curriculum. The 26 topics are covered in a rolling programme, with monthly updates held between September and June of each academic year.
Each EMU consists of three 30-minute presentations.
Although aimed particularly at core trainees, Evening Medical Updates are open to all hospital doctors, GPs, other healthcare professionals, and medical students. They are free of charge to all groups.
Updates are held at the College in Edinburgh but transmitted live, by video-link, to a number of other centres around the UK (see Live Links for the current list of venues). The programme allows time for discussion and questions with contributions from all centres.
To attend at the College, please book online, or download a registration form.
To attend at one of the video-linked venues, please contact your local centre directly and see Live Links page.
If you are unable to attend at the College or a video-linked site, a limited number of places are available to access the event by live webstreaming. Please contact the Education Co-ordinator Ms Felicity Garvie at email@example.com
