RCPE Careers Symposium: How to Make it in Medicine.

"What kind of doctor are you going to be when you grow up?" A question often asked and frequently difficult to answer... ..This symposium is aimed at medical students, foundation doctors and ST1/2 doctors to uncover some of the mysteries surrounding a postgraduate medical career and to providing an insight into what it means to be a physician. This is an essential resource for all medical students, foundation doctors and ST1/2 doctors in their path to choosing the right career.

Topics cover something for everyone at different stages of their training and include what is involved in the application and training process, a guide to postgraduate exams and alternative career pathways, an insight into workforce planning and top tips for finals and FY1.

Applications are now being accepted for the Clinical Lessons Session of the Careers Symposium. The deadline for submissions is Monday 21 July 2014. Full details and the criteria for eligibility are available to view.
