Training as a doctor can be challenging, and Anaesthesia has its own individual stressors, both clinical and curriculum in origin. All of us will encounter problems in our personal lives at times too. You are not expected to face these things alone. There are numerous resources, sources of advice and people wanting to help, both from within your training programme and Nationally.

However, having the courage to ask for help is often the hardest part. Please, please do not suffer in silence if you are struggling.
